- Can Anson Physiotherapy directly bill my extended health plan?
- Do you need a referral from your doctor?
If you are paying privately, we do not need a doctor's referral to see you but your extended health provider may require it when you submit your receipts.
- Do you need to make an appointment and how long are they?
Yes, you need to book an appointment by calling 604-945-7888 or you can book online. You will get 30 minutes with your physiotherapist and allow for up to 45 minutes for a session. In order to bill ICBC we need your claim number. If you have extended medical please bring this information with you. We can direct bill most but not all plans.
- Is there a cancellation fee for appointments?
Late cancellation (<24 hours) or no shows are $50. If you are unwell, please call and reschedule your appointment so we can give your appointment time to someone else.
- What does my extended health plan cover?
There are various health plans, all with different physiotherapy treatment coverage. You need to check with your own plan. Some plans also require a doctor's referral.
- What is involved in treatment?
After a initial assessment treatment your physio will make a plan with you to that may consist of exercise, hands-on techniques (manual) to work the muscles or joints, Dry Needling/IMS, low intensity laser (LILT), modalities to help with pain control, and/or education for home exercises or management.
- What method of payment is accepted?
We accept cash, debit, VISA, and MasterCard, payable at each visit.
